Engine Conversion
FAA-PMA'd Normal Category kit, with inverted fuel and oil systems.
Comes with two PS5C carbs, custom cowling, engine mount, inverted
systems fuel and oil tanks, installation parts. Oil tank, oil cooler,
and battery mount behind aft cockpit. Price on request.
Stearman
Four Aileron Conversion
This
conversion is approved for any engine installation in the Stearman. All
aerobatics are done much crisper. Four stock ailerons are modified.
All parts are furnished to modify wings and install ailerons. Anti-servo
tabs are added to the lower ailerons to lessen control forces. Price
on request.
Ayres
S-2R / S-2D Spring Tailwheel Kit
Nearly
1200 of these conversion kits have been sold. No more flat struts
or rough rides. Several improvements underway now - stainless steel
spring guard, spring nose restraint system, and improved spindle housing
features. Research on spring improvement is ongoing. Contact
us for further information. Kit is still priced at $3,605.25.

This
fuselage fairing makes any Thrush 7 - 10 mph FASTER
The fairing
smoothes out the rough air over the tail, and, together with the horizontal
stabilizer we offer, virtually eliminates the tail shake. Obviously
this will result in less maintenance and reduced pilot fatigue; and increase
your productivity. Some operators choose to ferry at their current
speed and save fuel. The modified aircraft will actually weigh approximately
5 pounds less - and get some more weight off the tail! Currently
we are undertaking a project with the FAA to allow this fairing to be
shipped predrilled, but unassembled. Assembly instructions, photos,
drawings and fasteners would be supplied. Contact us for further

Ayres
Thrush Horizontal Stabilizer Airfoil Mod
Those
operators that have tried this modification will never change. This
mod adds only 8
pounds to the weight
of the original fabric covered stabilizer - and substantially reduces
the tail shake and cracking. When used with our companion fuselage
fairing, the pair virtually eliminates the tail shake - and with a minimal
weight increase,
unlike the sheetmetal stabilizers. The modified stabilizer has a
leading edge that helped smooth the airflow over the tail. We clean
your unit, add a modified 6% NACA airfoil, sandblast, and paint the modified
unit with IMRON. Any required repairs to your unit are extra. This
modification is priced at $3,495.00
Elevator
Servo Tab Conversion For Ayres Thrush
Serv-Aero
has offered an approved kit for providing an elevator servo on the fabric
covered unit. Installing this FAA-PMA'd product will result in lower
stick forces and increased pilot productivity. Priced at $715.00
